As a young girl I had a passion for dance and danced until my senior year of high school. In 2016 I wanted to start running to lose weight which made me fall in love with running. I signed up for my first half marathon that year and since then I have now completed 9 marathons, 10 half marathons and over a dozen 5k's and 10k's.
My passion had grown for fitness and I wanted to learn more about the mechanics of the body. I received my B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis of sports medicine. While studying Kinesiology I had also received my personal training certification and also became a certified pilates instructor.
After receiving my degree, I had worked at a physical therapy clinic called S.C.O.I.. At the clinic we helped patients with pain management, improved mobility, injury prevention, and muscle strengthening. I know apply my degree and experience in the PT clinic with my clients and group classes.
As your trainer/coach I strive to continue my education every year, to see what new research has been found , what new techniques are out there and if there is any new certifications I can pursue.
